Amend the amendment in Part I in section 1 in the 2nd line (page 14, line 38 in amendment) by striking out the following: "$44,500,000" and inserting the following: '$44,000,000'

Amend the amendment by inserting after Part I the following:

Sec. J-1. Transfer to Maine Clean Election Fund. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the State Controller shall transfer $500,000 from General Fund undedicated revenue to the Maine Clean Election Fund established in the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 21-A, section 1124 on or before August 1, 2016.

Sec. J-2. Appropriations and allocations. The following appropriations and allocations are made.

Amend the amendment by relettering or renumbering any nonconsecutive Part letter or section number to read consecutively.

SUMMARY

This amendment transfers $500,000 to the Maine Clean Election Fund from General Fund undedicated revenue and reduces the amount transferred to the Maine Budget Stabilization Fund by $500,000.
