Amend the bill in section 3 in subsection 5-A in the last blocked paragraph in the last line (page 2, line 2 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: " board" the following: ' , except that in order to be a licensed independent practitioner a certified nurse practitioner must practice for at least 24 months under the supervision of a licensed physician or a supervising nurse practitioner or must be employed by a clinic or hospital that has a medical director who is a licensed physician'
