Amend the amendment by striking out the substitute title and replacing it with the following:
‘Resolve, Authorizing the Commissioner of Administrative and Financial Services To Sell or Lease the Interests of the State in Certain Real Property Located in Bangor, Orono and Thomaston’
Amend the amendment by striking out all of the last indented paragraph (page 1, line 18 in amendment) and inserting the following:
Amend the resolve in section 2 in subsection 5 in the last line (page 2, line 11 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "; and" and inserting the following: ';'
Amend the resolve in section 2 in subsection 6 in the last line (page 2, line 20 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "and be it further" and inserting the following: 'and'
Amend the resolve in section 2 by inserting at the end the following:
‘7. A certain lot or parcel of land comprising approximately one acre, together with any buildings and improvements thereon, formerly known as the Maine State Police Barracks, situated on U.S. Route 2 in Orono, as shown on the Town of Orono Tax Map 31-1, Lot 56; and be it further’
Amend the resolve in section 2 by renumbering the subsections to read consecutively.
SUMMARY
This amendment gives the Commissioner of Administrative and Financial Services authority to sell or lease the property formerly known as the Maine State Police Barracks in the Town of Orono.
