An Act To Standardize Pints of Beer Sold in Maine
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 28-A MRSA §715 is enacted to read:
§ 715. Malt liquor sales in standardized pints
A retail licensee licensed for on-premises consumption may not sell or offer for sale malt liquor in a container represented as a pint unless that container can hold at least 16 fluid ounces.

This bill requires that if an on-premises retail liquor licensee sells or offers for sale a pint of malt liquor, the container it comes in must have a capacity of at least 16 fluid ounces.
