Amend the resolution on page 1 in line 34 by striking out the following: "the date of the proclamation" and inserting the following: 'December 1, 2016'

SUMMARY

This amendment is the minority report and changes the date the amendment becomes part of the Constitution of Maine from the date of the proclamation, as stated in the resolution, to December 1, 2016, to allow the current Treasurer of State, who was elected by the Legislature, to finish the treasurer's term.
