‘Sec. 1. 25 MRSA §2001-A, sub-§2, ¶F-1 is enacted to read:
Amend the amendment in the first paragraph after the title in the last line (page 1, line 13 in amendment) by striking out the following: " $52.50" and inserting the following: ' $40'
Amend the amendment in the 2nd paragraph after the title in the last line (page 1, line 16 in amendment) by striking out the following: " $52.50" and inserting the following: ' $24'
Amend the amendment in the 3rd paragraph after the title in the last line (page 1, line 19 in amendment) by striking out the following: " $120" and inserting the following: ' $72'
Amend the amendment by striking out all of the 6th paragraph (page 1, line 24 in amendment) and inserting the following:
Amend the bill by striking out all of section 6 and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 6. 25 MRSA §2003, sub-§15, as amended by PL 2015, c. 123, §1, is repealed.
Amend the amendment by striking out all of section 8.
Amend the amendment by striking out all of section 10 and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 10. Appropriations and allocations. The following appropriations and allocations are made.

This amendment amends Committee Amendment "A" by replacing the increases to the application and renewal fees for a concealed handgun permit. This amendment provides that the application and renewal fee is $40 and $24, respectively, for a resident and $72 for a nonresident for either an application or a renewal. The amendment replaces the appropriations and allocations section. The amendment incorporates the provisions of House Amendment "A" to Committee Amendment "A."
