Amend the bill by striking out all of section 6 (page 3, lines 1 and 2 in L.D.) and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 6. 25 MRSA §2003, sub-§15, as amended by PL 2015, c. 123, §1, is repealed.
SUMMARY
This amendment extends the term of a permit to carry a concealed handgun from 4 years to 5 years, instead of 10 years as proposed in the bill. This amendment also corrects a legislative history to reflect action taken by the First Regular Session of the 127th Legislature.
