Amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting the following:

Amend the bill in section 1 in subsection 1 in the 4th and 5th lines (page 1, lines 7 and 8 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "candidate for municipal office and beginning January 1, 2012 more than $750 for a candidate for municipal office or more than $750 in any election for any other candidate" and inserting the following: 'candidate for a county or municipal office and beginning January 1, 2012 more than $750 for a candidate for municipal office or more than $750 in any election for any other candidate'

Amend the bill in section 2 in subsection 2 in the 5th to 7th lines (page 1, lines 23 to 25 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "candidate for municipal office and beginning January 1, 2012 more than $750 for a candidate for municipal office or more than $750 in any election for any other candidate" and inserting the following: 'candidate for a county or municipal office and beginning January 1, 2012 more than $750 for a candidate for municipal office or more than $750 in any election for any other candidate'

Amend the bill by adding after section 2 the following:

SUMMARY

This amendment adds to the bill a provision that applies the $350 campaign contribution limit in the bill for candidates for municipal office to candidates for a county office and establishes an effective date for the bill of January 1, 2016.
