‘Resolve, To Increase MaineCare Services for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities or Autistic Disorder’
Amend the resolve by striking out the title and substituting the following:
Amend the resolve in section 1 in the 2nd line (page 1, line 15 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "April 1, 2015" and inserting the following: 'May 1, 2016'
Amend the resolve in section 1 in the last line (page 1, line 24 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "2-A." and inserting the following: '2-A; and be it further'
Amend the resolve by inserting after section 1 the following:
‘Sec. 2. Provide funding for community-based services for adults with intellectual disabilities or autistic disorder. Resolved: That, with an appropriation of funding provided in section 4, the Department of Health and Human Services shall reduce the waiting list for community-based services provided under Chapter 101: MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter II, Section 21: Home and Community Benefits for Members with Intellectual Disabilities or Autistic Disorder and Chapter III, Section 21: Allowances for Home and Community Benefits for Members with Intellectual Disabilities or Autistic Disorder; and be it further

This amendment, which is the majority report of the committee, adds appropriations and allocations of $16,000,000 in all funds to reduce the number of people on the waiting list for community-based services provided under Chapter 101: MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter II, Section 21: Home and Community Benefits for Members with Intellectual Disabilities or Autistic Disorder and Chapter III, Section 21: Allowances for Home and Community Benefits for Members with Intellectual Disabilities or Autistic Disorder.
