The general
operating expenses of this task force are projected to be $1,670 in fiscal
year 2011-12 and $2,220 in fiscal year 2012-13, assuming 2 task force
meetings each fiscal year. The
Legislature's proposed budget includes $10,000 for studies to be conducted
during the interim after the 2nd Regular Session. Whether this amount is sufficient to fund
all studies will depend on the number of studies authorized by the Legislative
Council and the Legislature. |

The Department of
Economic and Community Development, the Maine State Housing Authority and the
Finance Authority of Maine can absorb the minor additional costs associated
