|
This legislation
establishes a special commemorative registration plate to celebrate the 2014
World Acadian Congress. The bill
includes a Highway Fund allocation of $6,963 beginning in fiscal year 2012-13
and ending in fiscal year 2015-16 for the cost of materials to manufacture
the plates. Highway Fund revenues will
increase by $9,000 and Other Special Revenue Funds revenue will increase by
$16,000 beginning in fiscal year 2012-13 and ending in fiscal year
2015-16. This estimate assumes
manufacture and sale of 1,000 plates each year. The Other Special Revenue Funds revenue
will be forwarded by the State to the Maine Acadian Heritage Council. |
