This bill
includes one-time Other Special Revenue Funds allocations totaling $5,000 to
the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation in fiscal year
2012-13 for the costs associated with the licensing of pharmacy interns. Of that amount, a one-time Other Special
Revenue Funds allocation of $2,500 is provided to the Office of Professional
and Occupational Regulation in fiscal year 2012-13 for the costs associated
with rulemaking. Additionally, a
one-time Other Special Revenue Funds allocation of $2,500 is provided to the
Administrative Services Division for the cost of making the licensing system
modifications in order for the Maine Board of Pharmacy to license pharmacy
interns. According to officials at the
Department of Professional and Financial Regulation, there are sufficient
funds within the board's existing budget to absorb the cost of this legislation
without increasing fees. |
