Requiring
the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) to initiate proceedings whenever a
transmission and distribution utility has installed or is about to install a
wireless smart meter and to provide the customer with opt-our procedures and
other protections may result in a minor cost increase which the PUC can
absorb within existing budgeted resources. |
