Removing
voice over internet protocol services from the category of telephone services
regulated in Maine could reduce Other Special Revenue Funds revenue to the
Office of Public Advocate in the form of a potential 15% decrease to the
telephone component of the public utility assessment. The reduction in revenue is anticipated to
be approximately $93,000 per fiscal year but actual revenue reductions may
vary substantially. |
