Fiscal Detail and Notes | ||||||
This legislation creates a coyote bounty permit with a fee of $40 and a $10 bounty paid for each coyote registered with an agent. Currently, hunters who kill coyotes do not tag them, therefore it is unknown how many are killed each year. It is assumed that a certain number of hunters will take advantage of this bounty. It is unknown how many that may be, or whether the effect would be a net cost or revenue increase to the General Fund. |
