| The bill removes the requirement that the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) evaluate and approve alternative overboard discharge systems but requires DEP provide education and outreach on proper maintenance to overboard discharge system owners. Any net impact from the change in duties is expected to be minor. Any revenue decrease from fewer annual licensing applications and license fees is expected to be minor as well. | ||||||
