The
Board of Boilers and Pressure Vessels within the Office of Licensing and
Registration, Department of Professional and Financial Regulation, will
require a one-time Other Special Revenue Funds allocation of $2,500 in fiscal
year 2011-12 for the costs associated with rulemaking. The Board estimates the loss of revenue due
to the exemption of certain boilers owned and operated by municipalities and
schoolhouses from the state-level boiler inspection program requirement to be
approximately $284,800 per year beginning in fiscal year 2011-12. This preliminary fiscal impact statement
assumes that the Board will increase fees to cover the revenue loss. |
