Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
Exempting
artificial significant vernal pool habitats and purely artificial wetlands
from regulation by the state under the Natural Resources Protection Act will
have the effect of reducing permit fee revenues collected by the Department
of Environmental Protection (DEP) for permit processes that pertain to areas
containing purely artificial wetlands.
Man-made vernal pools are already exempt from DEP regulation and as a
result the bill will have no fiscal impact as to permits for activities in
areas that contain such pools. |
