The collection of additional filing fees may also increase General Fund revenue by minor amounts.
Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Bureau of Labor Standards within the Department of Labor will require additional General Fund appropriations of $57,199 in fiscal year 2011-12 and $78,396 in fiscal year 2012-13 for one Labor and Safety Inspector position and all other costs associated with investigating and enforcing  the provision that a person with a prior conviction of a crime may not be disqualified from employment or from engaging in an occupation for which a license, permit or certificate is required.  This fiscal estimate assumes that this legislation becomes effective on October 1, 2011.
