Amend the amendment by striking out all of the 5th indented paragraph after the title (page 1, lines 21 and 22 in amendment) and inserting the following:
Amend the resolve in section 1 in subsection 4 in paragraph D in the last line (page 2, line 7 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "; and be it further" and inserting the following: '.'
’Amend the amendment by striking out all of subsection 5 and inserting the following:
‘5. The acquisition agreement must provide that the disposal facility must only be used for the disposal of sludge, ash and other waste generated from paper-making operations.
6. Nothing in this resolve permits the abrogation of, abrogates or intends to abrogate the sovereign immunity of the State with respect to any agreement authorized under this resolve; and be it further’
SUMMARY
This amendment amends Committee Amendment "A" to require that the acquisition agreement must provide that the disposal facility only be used for the disposal of sludge, ash and other waste generated from paper-making operations and makes technical corrections.
