Amend the amendment in section 1 in §10011 in subsection 2 in the first 2 lines (page 2, lines 7 and 8 in amendment) by striking out the following: " A postsecondary institution that receives either state or federal funding shall report annually to the department:" and inserting the following: ' Using information received annually from a postsecondary institution pursuant to federal law, the department shall annually compile the data so as to demonstrate:'

Amend the amendment in section 1 in §10011 in subsection 3 in the first line (page 2, line 17 in amendment) by striking out the following: " received" and inserting the following: ' compiled'

SUMMARY

This amendment clarifies that the information regarding retention and graduation rates must be compiled by the department using information that is already provided by postsecondary institutions.
