An Act To Fund Special Education Advocacy
Sec. 1. Funding for advocacy services for children with disabilities. The Disability Rights Center shall use the funds appropriated in accordance with section 2 to provide advocacy services on behalf of children with disabilities in education-related matters pursuant to the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, chapter 511 and under the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000, 42 United States Code, Section 15002 et seq. and 45 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 1386, Subpart B.
Sec. 2. Appropriations and allocations. The following appropriations and allocations are made.
