‘Resolve, To Exempt High School Students from Paying the Helper Electrician License Fee’
Amend the bill by striking out everything after the title and before the summary and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 1. Rules. Resolved: That the Director of the Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation within the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation shall amend its rules pertaining to the establishment of fees for helper electrician licenses to exempt a high school student from paying the fee to obtain a helper electrician license.’
SUMMARY
This amendment is the majority report of the committee. It changes the bill to a resolve and removes provisions in the bill that amend the electrician licensing laws by changing the number of helper electricians that may work with and be supervised by a journeyman electrician.
