Amend the bill in section 3 by striking out all of paragraph O (page 1, lines 23 to 26 in L.D.) and inserting the following:
‘ O. The disclosure of the financial records of a customer for the same reasons that such disclosure is permitted for nonpublic personal information under paragraph M and the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, 15 United States Code, Section 6802(e) (2010).’

This amendment clarifies the bill to ensure that disclosure of financial records of a business and, in particular, business records of a sole proprietor may be made by a financial institution to protect against fraud, unauthorized transactions and other liability.
