‘Rules adopted under this subsection are major substantive routine technical rules as defined in Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter II-A and must be provisionally adopted by March 1, 1999 2-A.’

Amend the bill in section 1 in subsection 3 by striking out all of the last blocked paragraph (page 1, lines 13 and 14 in L.D.) and inserting the following:
‘Rules adopted under this subsection are major substantive routine technical rules as defined in Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter II-A and must be provisionally adopted by March 1, 1999 2-A.’
SUMMARY
This amendment changes the designation of the rules related to information provided to consumers by competitive electricity providers from major substantive rules to routine technical rules and removes the date by which the rules were to be adopted.
