An Act To Further Restrict the Availability of Methamphetamine and Amphetamine Pills
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 17-A MRSA §1105-A, sub-§1, ¶J, as repealed and replaced by PL 2003, c. 688, Pt. B, §3, is amended to read:
J. At the time of the offense, the person trafficks in a quantity of 300 or more pills, capsules, tablets or units containing 3, 4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine, MDMA, methamphetamine, amphetamine or any other drug listed in section 1102, subsection 1, paragraph O. Violation of this paragraph is a Class A crime;
SUMMARY
This bill makes trafficking in a quantity of 300 or more pills, capsules, tablets or units containing methamphetamine or amphetamine an aggravated offense.
