Resolve, To Examine State Programs That Grant Funds To Improve Real Property and To Establish a Formula for Recouping Certain Funds

Sec. 1. Examination of grant programs; formula for recouping funds. Resolved: That the Director of the Maine State Housing Authority, in coordination with the Director of the Efficiency Maine Trust, shall examine their state programs, such as the central heating improvement program, home improvement assistance program, home repair program, replacement heating equipment program, commercial grant program and home energy savings program, that grant funds to improve real property and shall establish a formula for recouping funds when a recipient of funds from such a program sells the real property within 10 years of receiving the funds.
