Amend the bill in section 2 in subsection 5 in the 3rd line (page 1, line 22 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: " program." the following: ' Beginning April 1, 2012 each manufacturer of prescription drugs that are provided to Maine residents through the MaineCare program or the elderly low-cost drug program shall pay a fee of $500 per calendar year to the department to provide funding for the program.'
Amend the bill by adding after section 5 the following:
‘Sec. 6. Appropriations and allocations. The following appropriations and allocations are made.
