Amend the amendment by inserting after the first paragraph the following:
Amend the bill in section 4 in subsection 5 in the 2nd line (page 2, line 19 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: " 2171" the following: ' unless an agreement for the operation of the disposal facility requires the operator to provide for financial and administrative support for the citizen advisory committee'
’Amend the amendment by striking out all of the 6th indented paragraph and section 8 (page 1, lines 22 to 32 in amendment)
summary
This amendment provides that the Executive Department, State Planning Office is not required to base its impact payments to the municipality in which a state-owned solid waste disposal facility is located on financial and administrative support for a citizen advisory committee if the operator of the facility is required to provide that support pursuant to an agreement for the operation of the facility.
This amendment also strikes the appropriations and allocations section due to the change made by this amendment.
