Resolve, To Improve Health Outcomes for MaineCare Members in Managed Care

Sec. 1. Managed care incentives. Resolved: That the Department of Health and Human Services shall provide financial incentives to managed care organizations and persons who contract to deliver managed care to MaineCare members for reducing avoidable use of hospital emergency department services by making available preventive medicine or disease management services, or both, to MaineCare members.
