Amend the amendment in section 1 in the first paragraph in the first 2 lines (page 1, lines 18 and 19 in amendment) by striking out the following: " during the course of a foreclosure action in which the defendant has appeared, but prior to entry of judgment" and inserting the following: ' within 90 days of service of the foreclosure summons and complaint on the defendant'

SUMMARY

This amendment permits a defendant in a foreclosure action to request to be allowed to inspect and copy the original note and related indorsements within 90 days of service of the foreclosure summons or complaint on the defendant.
