An Act To Allow Holders of Junior Hunting Licenses To Take Antlerless Deer
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §11152, sub-§8 is enacted to read:
8. Junior hunters; antlerless deer. A junior hunter who possesses a valid resident license may take an antlerless deer during the open season on deer. The department shall designate which wildlife management districts are open to the taking of antlerless deer by a junior hunter based on the department's management of the deer herd statewide.
