	This legislation allows disclosure of registration, payment and reporting information for initiators of deposit by Maine Revenue Services to the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources.  This disclosure will allow the department to compare reporting and payment information to current registration and licensing information to determine compliance with reporting and payment requirements.  It is expected that this disclosure will increase unclaimed deposits paid to the State, thus increasing General Fund revenues.  However, until the information is disclosed to the department, no estimate of the increase can be made.
	Additional costs to the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources associated with the provisions of this legislation can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
