All
telecommunications entities already subject to an assessment under Maine
Revised Statutes Title 35-A, Section 116, Sub-Section 8 are subjected to an
additional one-time assessment on their intrastate gross operating revenues
sufficient to produce $100,000. The
Office of the Public Advocate will require an allocation of $100,000 to be
used for bankruptcy counsel and related costs for the FairPoint
Communications bankruptcy proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court,
Southern District of New York. |
