Legislative Cost/Study
	The general operating expenses of this study are projected to be $1,680 annually beginning in fiscal year 2009-10.  The Legislature's proposed budget includes $10,000 annually in fiscal year 2009-10 and fiscal year 2010-11 for legislative studies.  Whether the amounts are sufficient to fund all studies will depend on the number of studies authorized by the Legislative Council and the Legislature.
Fiscal Detail and Notes
	Additional costs to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the Department of Health and Human Services can be absorbed by the center utilizing existing budgeted resources. Additional costs to the Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Education associated with serving on the council can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
