	The per diem and expenses of the legislative member of the council are projected to be $420 annually beginning in fiscal year 2009-10.  The Legislature's proposed budget includes $20,000 annually in fiscal years 2009-10 and 2010-11 for legislative studies.  Whether the amounts are sufficient to fund all studies will depend on the number of studies authorized by the Legislative Council and the Legislature.

	Additional costs to the Department of Education and local school administrative units associated with collecting the data on the transition of children of military families can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
