The
Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) may be required to issue
approximately 150 additional Permit By Rule (PBR) permits to allow new
structures or expansions to existing structures to protect property from
natural disasters. The fee per PBR application is $65 and would generate
additional revenue of $9750 in FY2009-10 and 2010-11 It is anticipated that all PBRs would be
issued over the next two-year period and minimual revenue is expected
thereafter. Additional costs to DEP in issuing the PBRs can be absorbed
within existing budgeted resources. |
