|
The bill includes
a General Fund appropriation of $2,550 and a Highway Fund allocation of
$2,450 in fiscal year 2009-10 to the Department of Public Safety for training
regarding people who have mental illness and the involuntary commitment
process. The Department indicates that
the training will need to be provided periodically, but it is unknown at this
time how often and at what cost. The
Department will consider including the training within the initial training
