Fiscal Detail
and Notes |

|
|
|
The Secretary of
State will require a one-time Highway Fund allocation of $125,493 in fiscal
year 2009-10 for programming and development in order to notify people as
they register their motor vehicle that they have unpaid parking tickets. This assumes 1400 hours of information
system technology modifications.
Additional ongoing costs associated with collecting payments for the
parking tickets and coordinating with municipalities can be absorbed within
existing budgeted resources. |
