The Department of
Public Safety would need an Other Special Revenue Funds allocation of $74,867
in fiscal year 2009-10 and $78,651 in fiscal year 2010-11 for a Planning and
Research Associate I position and related administrative expenses to prepare
and maintain an appendix to the Maine Uniform Building and Energy Code. The Uniform Building Codes and Standards
Fund does not currently have enough funds in it to fund the office specialist
position outlined in PL 2007, c. 699, nor this new position. If this legislation is to go forward, it
would need to be determined how this position would be funded. |
