The
Department of Education has indicated that additional costs to work with the
Department of Health and Human Services to enter into or amend a memorandum
of understanding regarding early childhood intervention can be absorbed
within existing budgeted resources.
Additional costs to the Department of Health and Human Services can
also be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. However, to the extent that achieving the
memorandum of understanding would require additional advisory
responsibilities or additional advisory bodies beyond those required under
the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), there may be
additional costs. Those costs can not
be determined at this time. |
