The Commission on
Governmental Ethics and Election Practices will require a one-time Other
Special Revenue Funds allocation of $25,000 in fiscal year 2009-10 to modify
the electronic filing system to include expenditures on grassroots lobbying
and to accommodate the addition of a new reporting entity. These modifications can be accomplished
with existing funds in the lobbyist special account. $5,000 of this appropriation will be used
to modify the public disclosure website.
Although the legislation does not specifically include public
disclosure of the reports, this public disclosure is consistent with the
Commission's purpose. |
