The estimated cost
of the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women is $125,000 in fiscal year
2009-10 and $120,000 on-going for each fiscal year, thereafter. These amounts assume one position, the
Executive Director, as required by the law and All Other expenses of the
commission members and general opearting expenses. |

When the
Commission on Women was fully funded in fiscal year 1990-91, it had 3
authorized positions and an operating budget of $120,000. The amounts required by the new commission
will depend on the decision of the commission. |
|
The
estimated annual expenses of the 17 commission members for 4 meetings each
year is $13,600. Other operating
expenses will depend on the availability of office space and activities and
publications of the commission. |
