This
legislation would require the Secretary of State to include within ballot
questions for citizen initiatives a fiscal impact statement prepared by the
Office of Fiscal and Program Review and information from the petitioner on
how the cost will be paid. If a
citizen initiative were to be included on a future ballot question and the
length of the fiscal impact statement requires a second ballot to be printed,
the Secretary of State would incur an additional cost of $107,250. |
