The Bureau of Consumer Credit Protection in the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation would incur minor costs in establishing a new licensing category for escrow companies or tax-deferred exchange facilitators, and would realize minor revenue increases resulting from new licensing fees for the three such companies that operate in Maine at the present time. |
