Fiscal Detail and Notes
Allowing a person who is 65 years of age or older and previously held a Class I, II or III lobster and crab fishing license to obtain this license without completing the apprentice program will increase General Fund revenue by $20,850 in fiscal year 2009-10 and by $41,700 beginning in fiscal year 2010-11.  It will also increase Other Special Revenue Funds revenue by $11,250 in fiscal year 2009-10 and by $22,500 beginning in fiscal year 2010-11.  This estimate assumes an additional 200 licenses will be issued.
