Amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting the following:
‘An Act To Ensure Search and Rescue Dogs Are Afforded Access to Public Accommodations without an Extra Charge’
Amend the bill in section 1 by striking out all of subsection 4-A (page 1, lines 3 to 7 in L.D.) and inserting the following:

This amendment provides that a person assisting the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife with a search and rescue dog certified by or in training with an organization recognized by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, Bureau of Warden Service may be accompanied by the search and rescue dog in an inn, hotel, motel or other place of lodging without being required to pay an extra charge or a security deposit for the search and rescue dog. The owner of the search and rescue dog is liable for any damages done to the premises by that animal.
