Resolve, Directing the Department of Administrative and Financial Services To Develop a Proposed State Policy for the Use of State Property by the Private Sector

Sec. 1. Develop proposed policy. Resolved. That the Department of Administrative and Financial Services shall develop a proposed state policy for the use of state property by the private sector. In developing the proposal, the department shall invite the participation of interested parties. The department shall present its proposed policy to the Joint Standing Committee on State and Local Government no later than December 3, 2009. After review and receipt of the report, the Joint Standing Committee may report out legislation to the Second Regular Session of the 124th Legislature.

SUMMARY

This resolve directs the Department of Administrative and Financial Services to develop a proposed state policy for the use of state property by the private sector and to submit its proposed policy to the Joint Standing Committee on State and Local Government no later than December 3, 2009.
