Amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting the following:
‘Resolve, To Require the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission To Reexamine the Wind Farm Proposal in Redington Township’
Amend the bill by striking out everything after the title and before the summary and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 1. Maine Land Use Regulation Commission application reexamined. Resolved: That the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission must reexamine its decision on the application and all supporting documents submitted by Maine Mountain Power, LLC for Zoning Petition 702. The commission must reexamine its decision as soon as practicable and prior to reviews of any other proposals that are not yet in progress; and be it further
Sec. 2. Scenic character. Resolved: That, notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission may not take into account the effect of the proposed development on the scenic character of the area when reexamining its decision pursuant to section 1.’

The amendment, which is a minority report of the committee, replaces the bill with a resolve.
