An Act To Provide Reimbursement in the MaineCare Program for Board-certified Behavior Analysts

Sec. 1. 22 MRSA §3174-LL  is enacted to read:

§ 3174-LL.  Reimbursement for board-certified behavior analysts

Behavior analysts certified by a nationally recognized nonprofit professional board are eligible to receive reimbursement under the MaineCare program for behavioral health services within their scope of practice. By January 1, 2010, the department shall adopt rules to implement this section. Rules adopted pursuant to this section are routine technical rules as defined by Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2-A.
